Its name draws on John 4, with Christ as the source of living water. This foundation shapes our approach to stewardship, service and generosity. The 2018 and 2020 acquisitions predate The Well & Co’s registration. Later milestones show how the registered group and its support for company leaders developed. Acquired as a mobile cleaning business before its later development into Aspire Autos. January 2020 — The Well Café. Acquired from Altar Church before the café closed at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. It later developed into a community café and employment-training platform. 16 May 2022 — The Well & Co registered. The Well & Co was formally registered on 16 May 2022, bringing a group identity to business ownership and operating experience that began years earlier. 20 June 2023 — Empowerment Care → The Well Team. Acquired and carried forward as The Well Team. 16 July 2024 — Workforce Partners Recruitment. Joined the group as its direct Australian recruitment capability. 19 July 2024 — Dream Catcher Supports → Well Guided Care. Acquired and carried into its next chapter as Well Guided Care. 27 August 2024 — NMB Property Services Management → White Gold Collective. Acquired and carried forward as White Gold Collective. 2025 — Executive coordination develops. Sofia Galazio transitioned to Chief of Staff after joining The Well & Co as Operations Assistant in 2022. Her progression brought company knowledge and experience supporting the CEO into executive coordination and follow-through on group priorities. 21 July 2025 — Senior operating leadership broadens. Karen Naidoo began as National Operations Director, with a mandate spanning The Well Team and adjacent operations. The role brought senior responsibility for service delivery, workforce deployment and day-to-day operating oversight. 2 September 2025 — Hurricane Darwin City Cleaners → Groundline Ops. Acquired as a Darwin cleaning operation and later repositioned as Groundline Ops. 21 October 2025 — saltwatercare. Joined The Well & Co through a completed acquisition. By April 2026 — Defined group leadership and specialist support. The group’s leadership structure brought executive coordination, financial accountability and legal governance alongside company operations. Defined responsibilities and escalation paths connected company leaders with specialist group support. Today the group comprises 20+ operating businesses across eight countries, spanning 7 sectors.
